Organization Options

This page was added to Atlas September, 2023 to record affiliate preferences and settings for Atlas customizations.  Previously this information was hard-coded, but recording it here allows changes to be made more easily, and gives a better representation of affiliate options to users.  Over time hard-coded options already in our Atlas code base will be transferred here.

You can access Organization options via Administration >> Configuration.

It is expected that additions to this area will always be made via the SDK, and edits for individual affiliates would be manual.  Note – not all options will be editable by affiliate admin, and no changes should be made on this page unless you are fully aware of the repercussions of your change!

Stewardship 

  • STEWARDSHIPREPORTS. Defines how Stewardship reports can be tracked. The options are
    • Interactions. Use an Interaction for each stewardship report, with one or more purposes linked to the interaction. This option enables the functionality to link purposes to interactions.
    • Prospect Research Requests. Use a Prospect research request for each stewardship report. This option hides the functionality to link purposes to interactions.

System Configuration

  • ALTERNATEDATABASE and ALTERNATEDATABASE2 . Enables two distinct “Go to” feature between two databases. For instance, in the MGH database, set ALTERNATEDATABASE to “BWH” to enable a “Go to BWH” task for Constituents with a valid Partners ID Alternate Lookup ID in both databases, and set ALTERNATEDATABASE2 to “PCC” to enable a “Go to SRN” task for SRN constituents. Note that this feature only works if the current user is also a user in the alternate database.
