A recognition program can be set up to be restricted to certain constituents based on a selection. For example:
- MCL has a recognition program that applies to women only.
- MEE has several programs that apply to physicians only.
On the Add a recognition program form, there is an option to use a constituent selection to refine the constituents eligible for this program. The selection is used in conjunction with the Limit program to checkboxes.

Remember, the constituents you include on the Program tab must also qualify based on the settings on the Recognition Criteria tab in order to be automatically added to the program. For example, if ‘Spouse Credit’ is not included and the not-eligible spouse has the hard credit, the eligible constituent will not be counted.
