This global change will add or remove associated prospect manager based on the prospect manager assigned to the primary household member.
- A Prospect Manager is added to the member of the household with the closest association to the affiliate. This Global Change adds an Associated Prospect Manager to the spouse that portfolio counts are not inflated.
- A family foundation could be the entity under management, and the relationships to this family foundation would get an associated prospect manager (“Family foundation” or “Family Foundation/Fund” relationship type).
- The Associated Prospect Manager will be a prospect team member role.
- Logic overview:
- Constituent A has an active Prospect Manager, their spouse (Constituent B) is not deceased and does not have an active Prospect Manager. The GC should add an active Associated Prospect Manager to Constituent B equal to the Prospect Manager of Constituent A with the start date equal the start date of the Prospect Manager on Constituent A.
- If a spouse has an active Associated Prospect Manager not equal to the Prospect Manager of Constituent A, or if Constituent A does not have a Prospect Manager, then the Associated Prospect Manager role will be end dated with the process run date and the team member role changed to Associated Prospect Manager – Former and an end date of the process run date used.
- If an organization record is related to Constituent A with a relationship type of “Family foundation” or “Family Foundation/Fund” and that organization does not have a prospect manager, then the organization record should have an active Associated Prospect Manager equal to the Prospect Manager of Constituent A. The start date should equal the start date of the Prospect Manager.
- If an organization record with relationships of “Family foundation” or “Family Foundation/Fund” has an active Prospect Manager, then all relationships with this type should also have an Associated Prospect Manager equal to the Prospect Manager of the Organization with the same start date if the individual does not have an active prospect manager and does not have an active Associated Prospect Manager (i.e. spouse relationships are evaluated first and then family foundations.)
- If an organization record with relationships of “Family foundation” or “Family Foundation/Fund” does not have an active Prospect Manager, then all relationships with this type should have their Associated Prospect Manager role end dated with the process run date and the team member role changed to Associated Prospect Manager – Former as long as the spousal rules would also not add an associated prospect manager. The Associated Prospect Manager – Former role should get the end date of the process run date used.
- If an individual has an associated prospect manager and does not have a spousal relationship nor a “Family foundation” or “Family/Foundation Fund” relationship, then the associated prospect manager role should be changed to Associated Prospect Manager – Former and an end date of the process run date used.
