Affiliate Admins have access to a Task to delete constituents under certain circumstances. However, Atlas will not allow users to delete constituents with patient data via this task – even when it’s clearly test data created by the patient import. This new global change can be used to delete or inactivate a selection of constituents.
The parameters are
- Selection. Required. Choose a Constituent selection.
- Action. Required. Choose from Inactivate or Delete.
- Reason. Required if Inactivate was selected for Action. Choose from the drop-down list of reason codes. This field is disabled when Action = Delete.
- Details. Optional. This field is disabled when Action = Delete.
- Delete constituents with patient data? This field is disabled when Action = Inactivate and unchecked by default.
Good to Know!
- When deleting constituents with this global change, the same rules that apply if you use the Delete task are enforced here; you cannot delete a constituent with revenue, an open research request, pending Wealthpoint updates, a planned gift and a planned gift beneficiary, or a naming opportunity recognition. You also cannot delete a constituent who has requested, has submitted, or is assigned to an open research request. And you cannot delete a constituent who is a provider with associated patient records.
