Education and residency information
Good to Know!
- CONVERSION NOTES:
- The RE campus field does not have an equivalent in CRM. If RE campus in the education table is not null, we added the campus data as an education attribute
- RE Status field will convert as is, but if the RE Date graduated field is filled in we assume that the constituent did graduate and set the CRM education status field to “Graduated” instead of “Unknown”
- Because short codes can only exist once in the table, if multiple education departments need to map to the same short code we are added a sequence number to the end. These short codes will be used to create a IHP name that includes areas of study and graduation years, we will ignore the sequence numbers when developing the code
- Dates convert as expected from RE to CRM; one except is for BWH where if the educational institution is Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the attended date exists, then the class year is set to the starting attended date instead of the ending attended date
Residency Information is entered with the affiliate as the educational institution. The degree indicates resident, fellow, etc., and the department in the additional information area is used for the medical area or department. Degree type in additional information comes from the RE Major and Minor. Campus is an education attribute that we have configured to appear at the bottom of the add and edit screen.
