Business Units

Business units are in a variety of locations within Atlas.

For revenue, business unit defaults from the following sources, in order of priority:

1. Business unit from commitment (if payment is applied to an existing pledge or other commitment)
2. Business unit from the solicitor (configured in the organization hierarchy)
3. Business unit from the marketing effort segment, if overrides were applied
4. Business unit from the marketing effort, if overrides were applied
5. Business unit from the appeal

The business unit can also be manually overwritten.  For conversion we defaulted the RE campaign dev unit if it exists, otherwise the dev unit from the appeal.
