Planned gifts have multiple components in Atlas. They consist of 3 parts
- Planned gifts – added by PG officers
- Planned gift revenue – this acts like a pledge and is linked to the planned gift
- Planned gift payment – this payment pays off the PG revenue
When planned gifts are received, gift processing will add the planned gift revenue and the payment simultaneously; they will have the same date and amount.
Good to Know!
- CONVERSION NOTES:
- In RE there is only one planned gift transactions, in CRM there are 3. We are creating the planned gift and planned gift revenue during conversion, the PG payment will be added post conversion
- If the RE “Gift has been realized” checkbox is checked, we set the CRM status to Matured
