The purpose of this Global change is to ensure that recognition credits are synchronized between spouses. This Global change requires either a Constituent selection or a Revenue application selection.
To synchronize all gifts, use a constituent selection.
To synchronize only select gifts, create a Revenue attribute called Soft credit exclusion and add it to the specific transactions that should not be soft credited to the spouse. Next, create a Revenue application selection excluding records with this attribute and update the Global change to use this selection instead of a Constituent selection.
