This Global Change compares recognition credit on a pledge against the pledge payment. If a constituent is recognized on the pledge and not deceased (recognition type is not relevant) but is not recognized on the payment, add recognition on the payment with a recognition type = soft credit, a recognition date = gift date of the payment and recognition amount = gift amount of the payment.
The process will not create any duplicate recognitions for a constituent.
The process also permits a selection of payments to be considered in the event that this process should be limited to specific records. Selection parameter is not required; when it’s not used, the process evaluates all pledge payments in the system.
