Fundraiser/Opportunities and Asks

This tab consists of four sections: Overdue, Outstanding, Unfunded, and Closed.

All four sections are controlled by one parameter section which allows this tab to be filtered by Date, Prospect Plan Type, and the Role that the fundraiser plays in Prospect plans and Opportunities. 

There are two versions of this tab, depending on whether or not your affiliate is using the Opportunity “custom validation”. (This means, among other things, that the Expected ask amount and date are not available.) 

This page shows how the Opportunities and Asks tab behaves if this setting is enabled, where each section contains one Amount column per section to display the corresponding Anticipated Amount found in the Opportunity record (except for the Closed Section where Accepted Amount is used)If this setting is not enabled, each section displays the standard CRM Ask Amount in addition to the Anticipated Amount.

Overdue

Overdue asks summarizes Anticipated amount where the following is true:

  • Opportunity Status Code = Qualified  
  • & Fundraiser is a solicitor on the Opportunity 
  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown 
  • & Opportunity “Ask Date” < Today’s Date 
  • & [My Role] is blank OR 
    • If “All Roles” Then Fundraiser is the Primary Manager or Secondary Manager on  Prospect Plan 
    • Else If “Primary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Primary Manager on Prospect Plan  
    • Else If “Secondary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 

Overdue responses summarizes Anticipated amount where the following is true: 

  • Opportunity Status Code = Response Pending
  • & Fundraiser is a solicitor on the Opportunity 
  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown 
  • & Opportunity “Response Date” < Today’s Date 
  • & [My Role] is blank OR 
    • If “All Roles” Then Fundraiser is the Primary Manager or Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 
    • Else If “Primary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Primary Manager on Prospect Plan  
    • Else If “Secondary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 

Outstanding 

Unqualified summarizes Anticipated amount where the following is true:

  • Opportunity Anticipated date between Date Filter Start and End Dates 
  • & Opportunity Status Code = Unqualified  
  • & Fundraiser is a solicitor on the Opportunity 
  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown 
  • & [My Role] is blank OR  
    • If “All Roles” Then Fundraiser is the Primary Manager or Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 
    • Else If “Primary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Primary Manager on Prospect Plan  
    • Else If “Secondary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 

Qualified summarizes Anticipated amount where the following is true: 

  • Opportunity Actual ask date between Date Filter Start and End Dates 
  • Opportunity Status Code = Qualified

  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown

Accepted summarizes the Accepted amount where the following is true: 

  • Opportunity Status Code = Accepted 
  • & Opportunity Response date between Date Filter Start and End Dates

  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown 
  • & [My Role] is blank OR

Total revenue committed summarizes Revenue committed amount where the following is true: 

  • Opportunity Status Code = Accepted 
  • & Opportunity Response date between Date Filter Start and End Dates 
  • & Fundraiser is a solicitor on the Opportunity 
  • & Prospect Plan Type is null or equal to value selected in [Plan Type] dropdown 
  • & [My Role] is blank OR 
    • If “All Roles” Then Fundraiser is the Primary Manager or Secondary Manager on Prospect Plan 
    • Else If “Primary Manager” Then Fundraiser is Primary Manager on Prospect Plan
